Waste incineration systems for Medical Waste, Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste, Liquid Waste, NORM Waste, Sludge, etc.

Waste valorisation is a common and necessary practice to treat, recycle and give a new value to waste coming from human and industrial activity. Incineration is a type of valorisation that offers safe results and advantages, which make it ideal for industrial waste management. Still, there are some concerns about Incinerators, due to them being a partly unknown valorisation method and to some suspicious preactices carried out in the past.

However, since EU 2000/76/CE Directive from year 2000, waste incinerators undergo the strictest and more demanding controls. Since Incinerators are such a controlled valorisation method, they are a safe and efficient solution for waste management, and are very widely used in many countries.

  • Hazardous Waste
  • Medical Waste
  • NORM Waste
  • Recycling Plants Waste
  • Animal & Slaughter houses Waste
  • Naval Vessel Waste
  • Solid & Liquid Waste
  • Etc.

Technical Advantages

  • Allows treatment of different waste types
  • Needs few space
  • Generates only upto 3% ashes as solid residue
  • Energy Recovery >Waste to Energy > Incineration systems may reuse waste to generate hot water, steam and electric power, which implies cost savings.

Waste to Energy

One of the advantages that our incineration systems bring is Waste to Energy, that means, our incinerators may reuse the calorific value of waste to generate extra power for the customer, such as hot water, steam or electric power. That extra power can be used internally at the customers’ manufacturing plant for productive processes.

This means COST SAVINGS for manufacturing plants.

Equipment Technical Characteristics

  • Various models to choose from to fit your needs from 300 to 10,000 K/day
  • Easy to load and easy to operate
  • Low loading height
  • Heavy Duty lined stacks included
  • Ram Feeder options
  • No visible emissions and no odour
  • Pre-Piped and pre-wired at the factory
  • No grease leakage
  • Built for long life
  • Automatic temperature control for maximum efficiency

The equipment incineration capacity is based on two or three loads per day (8-10 hours) depending on the density and the PCI of the material to be incinerated, including the cooling time required for each unit.

How Do Waste Incineration Systems Work?

During incineration process, waste is oxidised at high temperature thanks to the oxygen action, which allows combustion. For complete security, incinerators have several filtration phases: the first one, in the secondary incinerator chamber, called “gas washing” or “post-combustion”, works at 1,100 ºC and is a vital part of the incinerator. Then an injection of sodic bicarbonate and another one of active carbon is made.

Gas, which has already become cooler, goes to a bag filter, where solid particles are retained, and after that, an ammonia solution is injected. All that process guarantees the proper emissions control of odour, VOC, combustion gases and heavy metal, for a proper functioning and a final result safe for people and the environment.
